I got my Club Nintendo desk calendar today in the mail! I posted all the scans up on Infendo. CHECK IT OUT NOW!!!
Alright, Pakkoderm’s ticked. BIG TIME. And you all know what happens when Pakkoderm is ticked! You end up flying through the front door torpedo-style. My wife came up with the costumes of the little kids; they’re so cutsie!

I’ve been following the upcoming Thor movie with great anticipation, and this news is only excites me more. Anthony Hopkins has been cast to play Thor’s father, Odin. Sweeeet!

Nintendo announced today that they are releasing a new DSi, with 4.25″ screens. It also appears to come with a larger stylus. This would make the camera and picture-taking more appealing, but still…weird. Not too sure if I would buy this one or the normal DSi. As of right now, however, its only announced for Japan and Europe (where it will be known as the DSi XL). EDIT: It is now confirmed that the DSi XL will be arriving in North American in Q1 2010.
Tree Frog and Pakkoderm have awoken in Dr. Acula’s basement in coffins! I love the idea of having a horrific vampire who just captures Trick or Treaters to eat their candy.
I will be finishing the arc this week. The final strip will be on Saturday, Halloween!
Continuing on with the Halloween theme, we now see Tree Frog and Pakkoderm out Trick or Treating, where they end up at the worst place they could be: Dr. Acula’s house!!! Will our favorite geeky duo be rescued, or will they have their blood sucked by the neighborhood’s newest vampire?! Stay tuned!
I once again changed up the shading on this, adding some line-shading. I’m learning a ton doing this web comic, and I think the team is really evolving and each character is getting their own personality. As always, I’d love to hear your comments.
I would like to present to you fine people some awesome web comics I draw some inspiration from.
Guy in a Bush
Although still relatively new, Brian’s comic is totally rockin’. It is simple, clean fun and is quite consistent.
Extra Life
I’ve been following just about everything that Scott has been doing for about a year now, and it seems that he can do no wrong. Extra Life is a smattering of great art and hilarious quirky humor that never fails to impress. It is as random as it is creative, focusing on everything from geek culture to current events.
xkcd
This comic is the perfect reminder that writing is more important than art. The stick figures in this are so simplistic that it surrenders itself entire to the jokes involved (which happen to be some of the funniest jokes on the web).
Cyanide and Happiness
If you have not seen this gem, you have not yet lived. I once spent an entire afternoon going through their archives. Their overly offensive humor is something that is so shocking that it draws me back again and again. Cyanide and Happiness is my guilty pleasure.
Experience Points
Experience Points is, in my mind, the best comic on the internet. Its simple yet so profound. The character Vincent captures EXACTLY what it is like to be a gamer (Scott tends to focus his jokes around World of Warcraft), and his pet duck Steve is hilarious as well.
